France, Somme, Baie de Somme, Le Hourdel, Fishermen return on foot with their harvest of Salicorne. Each fisherman brings back 2 or 3 30kg bags of samphire. The bags are placed on bicycles without saddles or pedals and then loaded into a small boat to cross the channel at the entrance to the port. A curious young seal watches them.
